OUR PROJECTS
OVC PROGRAM
The Nehemiah Project OVC department renders psycho social support programs to orphaned and vulnerable children in the Bulawayo suburbs of Sauerstown and Cowdray Park. The program provides life skills and experiential learning to children in low income communities. It is a place where children from the community meet to play, learn and have fun in a clean and safe environment. In 2018 the department started an Early Childhood Development Centre in Sauerstown where children receive early childhood development stimulation programs in line with the government of Zimbabwe’s Early Childhood Development Curriculum. The OVC department also carries out youth programs for community youths. Through this program the youth receive information pertaining to Sexual Reproductive Health Rights , career guidance and vocational training.
